(way to go!) but she never remarried. I think she held a torch for Robert Taylor for the rest of her life. She made him pay her alimony though! (Way to go!) ;-) --Previous Message-- : I loved her in Walk on the Wild side in the : 60s, too. : : And ALWAYS watched Big Valley when I was a : kid!! : : --Previous Message-- : : She was just amazing in everything she did. : Robert Taylor was such a schmuck for dumping : her. : --Previous Message-- : Once you go Stanwyck, you NEVER go back!!!! : : Madra = Joan Crawford, Bette Davis, and : Godzilla- imho. : : --Previous Message-- : To me Barbara Stanwyck along with Jean : Arthur : and Claudette Colbert are my favorite 1930's : actresses. : I've never seen anything that Stanwyck was : in were she wasn't absolutely true to the : character. To me she is the most marvelous! : I always think of Madra as being like : Barbara Stanwyck. : Again thanks for the lovely picture of her! : : : : : : :
