There were three extra purchase fashions. The first two were variations on last year’s “Color of Money.”
This next fashion was based on the dress Vivian Leigh wore to The Junior League Ball. The B&W fur on the shoulder is meant ermine.

Now was time for the centerpiece! Sandra had told us ther might be a surprise at the event, and she was right!
Yes, that’s an Aquatalis Trinh doll, an exclusive for SSP Peaches & Panache. A LE of 10. Note the blue eyes. Stunning! It was $1,400. 18 attendees wanted to buy her, so names were pulled. Although eight people missed out, the guys at Aquatalis were kind enough to send generous gift certificates, so there was a little consolation prize for those eight disappointed folks.
Sandra also had a short presentation explaining how this doll was designed.

Oh! And here’s some paper minis featuring Delta Airlines. Very cute! Thanks, Patsy!
Next was the “Inspirations” presentation, an SSP tradition. This is when Sandra shows photos of the original fashions that inspired the event creations. It’s always amazing to see how closely Sandra gets her fashions to the original design!
Then the unboxing!
It hadn’t been named yet, but Sandra said it was this year’s “Cutie” fashion!
Then, one last announcement from Sandra . . . On the first day of P&P, she said that she had already picked a theme (or partial theme) for next year’s SSP. She said she would give us hints at each event and whoever guessed would get a prize. Several people got the right guess! Next year’s theme will be . . . Christmas!
With that, your intrepid reporter is signing off. At least until next year!
