I'm not sure who or why someone wants to start trouble with me or TIWF but I will set the record straight.
Fact: The 2 last TIWF TV Shows did not feature a ladies match.
There has not been a ladies match for over 3 weeks.
The latest TIWF poster promoting TIWF has 7 women and 18 men.
1 out of every 60 hours of TIWF Videos features ladies matches. That is 1 hour of Womens's matches for every 60 hours of Men's Wrestling.
Those are facts.
@bystander & @Gotta Clue, Where are yours?
Now for my opinion.
I would suspect this thread has more to do with another federation who is worried that TIWF has a ladies division that might at a future time, like most things TIWF becomes involved in, grow and blossom into what is synonymous with TIWF, that is, great sports entertainment. I think some feel threatened by what for the most part is a young and growing division.I do not feel the ladies division title takes away from Heavy Weight, Tag Team, or TV Title that has been the focus of almost every main event at TIWF in the almost 7 years that I have been there.On the contrary, I think it enhances the long existing tradition of Men's Wrestling. To be honest, I think it a bit absurd that in the year 2011 we would be debating the relevance of how often a Women wrestler or Ladies division was promoted. I would ask whoever started this thread, since they seem to think they are so enlightened, how many main events at TIWF have featured a Ladies Division Match? Even our most loyal record keeping fan could not name more than a handful, if that.
I would hope that TIWF does continue it's progressive move forward through the addition of Ladies wrestling to the already great line-up of Mens Wrestling.
