Hello, to whom it May concern I just wanted to let yall know about an expereince we had on March 10th 2009. My name is Laura I am from River Bend Hoof & Paw Kennel in Mass. I had a friend whom purchased a Beautiful Healthy Pup from Jorge at TexasGeez...Thank God this pup was healthy ,Tuff and well cared for before she was shipped...Much Thanks Jorge,...However I wish I could say the same about Coninental "PET SAFE" Program. This Pup was sent on a flight from Houston to Boston and If there Claim was True and this pup was shipped in a temperature "MONITORED" ENVIORNMENT,..Than there should never be ANY EXCUSE for a pup to arrive in a crate that has a "SHEET OF FROZEN URINE". tHIS IS THE RESPONSABILITY OF THE CONTINENTAL PET SAFE PROGRAM !! We contacted Jorge to let him know that this could have been a fatal outcome. The poor pup was shaking violently she was so cold. Her pads where white as snow,..Obviously this pup was in that Frozen crate for a very long period. After speaking with Jorge who was so Upset as you can imagine,we both decided Never to fly with that program Again. There is an "investigation" going on...That is there response over at Continental. But Im at least obligated to share this info and Protect these Pups being shipped from That Airline.iT'S BEEN 10 DAYS AND WE HAVE HAD NO CALL BACK FROM CONTINENTAL...We just keep calling looking for answers. i'LL KEEP YOU ALL POSTED AS THIS COULD HAVE LONG TERM RAMIFICATIONS FOR ALL BREEDERS SHIPPING PUPS through this program.
This Post is only to enlighten and to protect the next pup from a possible Life threatening Trip from a Company that boasts "Pets Safety" !!!
On a Better Note...I'd like to commend Jorge for shipping a BEAUTIFUL HEALTHY PUP...She is EVERYTHING YOU SAID SHE IS. Also for your patients dealing with a tough personality!!
