Hey Andre, the food does have alot to do with how your puppy will turn out. For your new puppy I would recomend you find yourself a PUPPY food that is labeled for large breed pups. Also try and find something with a meat first ingredient instead of corn or grains for the first ingredient. I also get dog food with a higher fat percentage, where it is more equal to the protein in the food. this will help your pup stay nice and thick. After you do more research on the breed you may even want to switch your pup when he is older to a RAW diet. I feed my males all RAW. They are looking very thick and ripped. I personally like how my males are looking on this RAW diet. If you have any other questions feel free to ask and good luck with your new pup.
