Rowan is everywhere and no where. She is somewhere in between. A fleeting piece of history, a legend in a place where legends were made. She stands in the forests of Desreal, her milky white skin glowing in the blood red of the falling moon. She eyes glow sadly, as all the earth around her begins to die. She is consumed with the ruin of the element. But she stands there, awaiting the final moments before everything falls away. She can feel Micah in the forest somewhere, and she runs to him, A ghost, his pale vixen of the night who will always be more of a dream to him than reality. She does not embrace him, but stands lingering in the distance, a faint memory of what they had once been, and could never be again.

She sends a strong gust of wind towards him, allows it to run across his skin, play through his mane. It runs along her daughters back, a final parting farewell to the bond they could never share. Rowan wasn’t a mother, she was a child herself amongst the shadows. She knows Micah will feel her, that Epos knows her presence too. And then she fades into the darkness. Finally consumed by the world she loved and hated so much. The place that had given her, finally took her back. And Rowan closed her eyes in blissful surrender as the end of it all came crashing down around her.
