The Naphtha's distress is as palpable as the air she breaths and she turns before the pale mare has even arrived to greet her with a faintly troubled smile. She is glad to see her old friend, well, delighted is more the proper term, but concerned at her seeming desperation.
"Hypatia, it's been too long." she returns softly, stepping forward unhesitating to touch her muzzle to the white mare's neck. "You've fared well, yes? And the desert, it still survives? The ocean.....I was surprised."
And that is all she will say of the Reef, expression wavering if only for a moment.
