Oh she had no loyalties, at least not until just recently.
It was inevitable, Lebanon could not come to the desreal without nothing happening. In fact, almost every time she has something bad or potentially bad has happened. Not like she could remember them at this moment, her memory was corroded with burning flames of hell, but eventually, maybe she could get them back.
But recently, Saphira the Siren had called her. And the flesh-wound she had upon her shoulder told enough to say what she was. Lebanon was a slave. Her mind fights it, fights the call of her, fights the overwhelming need to cut the shard from her, but she heds to her everything, because now, now she has no choice.
She laughs at him. “special you say?“ She couldn’t help the cackling as it threaded off of her words. Its already to late for that. Besides, she was exactly the same now, except she was held captive by the queen of Solira. Oh yay! “Perhaps you see something no one else does, because I have never been called special.“ Her eyes roll inside its sockets.
Her fire flickers inside her, nestled and ready to pounce. “Perhaps, I don’t know how I feel about him plotting against his own father, but nonetheless he is and im not going to stop it. Father and son battles are rather interesting, im sure you can understand that.“ It has been told many of times that Kurai and Baraqel hate each other. So it would come to no surprise.
“I do not love, because I do not know what love is. Tell me Kurai do you love? Because I am incapable of such a complexity of emotions, unless you call slaughtering people love, then yes, I guess I can. Just not the way most do.“ She nods, she doesn’t know why she tells him this, perhaps she feels like she can. In the deserts she’s watched by Hypatia, she killed someone under her supervision and she didn’t cast her out. So she had to keep a down low on everything she did.
You’d understand that though, wouldn’t you Kurai?
