Oh walking, Lycoris was so down for walking. It meant she was less alienated for her moving body, and her random bouts of prances and skips and leaps, and figure eights woven around trees before skittering back to whoever she was with. So at this suggestion, Lycoris gives an enthusiastic nod of her, more like a massive thrust, as she takes a few small leaps forwards happily, dancing ahead, yet always circling back to the ambling Scylla.
Ears cock at her every word, and eyes almost leer on her with amber intensity, to show full attention, although her body wriggled like a restless pup. Yet they are filled with kindness and curiosity, and Lycoris grins in agree-ance at her first statement. “Mmmhmmm, long and draping yet silky and tangle free, and graceful and veil-like…” Lycoris is practically muttering to herself in a giddy voice, kicking her hooves up vibrantly. Yet then she mentions squirrels and Lycoris stops in her prancing tracks. “Squirrels!” The spindle mare exclaims with a gasp, hitching her legs up briefly, delight pouring from her expressive, however, still emancipated face. There were lines of her bones, that made the speckles and splatters slightly askew on her lovely features. Yet her glee is plain and obvious as she then goes leaping ahead with a stream of consciousness babble.
“oh the squirrels could bring you nuts, and the leaves and the twigs, and they would be so warm and fury and lovely, with their little squirrels as well, and you could wear the babies like earrings, and they’d all drag along for fun in your tail,” tail flick here, “Awww and in winter they can stay warm right up next to you, and you can help them find nuts and build your own… uhhh, what’s it called, Her leaps and bounds and turning back and forth between Scylla and trees in the distance is halted. She pauses perfectly, head slightly lowered, tail still moving from her bounding, and then she grins and exclaims, “eco-system!”
