spirits that walk for a thousand years;
here them calling on that darkest morning;
pulling me under, my thoughts dissapear;
Saphira had come, but she really has no idea what had brought Althea to her now. In this place. She knew of Althea’s desertion of Solira, and she felt a hint of pride and respect towards the smaller mare. So it seemed not everyone in Solira was idiotic after all. Saphira remembers Althea’s respect for distance, and so she does not draw any nearer. Should Althea wish to touch her, than that would be her move.
“It is a pleasure to see you again Althea. But I am no one's Commander now. I am a rogue, nothing more.”
There is a pause, and the words had been softly spoken. She was not upset, merely correcting her in a polite way. Saphira can smell the desert air wafting off the mare, and she smiles. There was nothing worse than forever being alone. This Saphira knew all too well, whens he had suffered the loss of Alshain. She had sacrificed everything to bring him back. Internally she was glad Althea seemed to have found that in someone as well.
“I am glad you have found somewhere else to belong… Now, what can I do for you my friend?”
If Saphira could have quirked a brow, she would have. Instead she stands there in silence, watching. Waiting.
the siren;
the keeper;
water III + lightning III + air III
you can hold the darkness from you;
if the will is very strong;
but that whisper always haunts you;
cannot change the Siren's Song.
