Her eyes look into the milky brown of his, and finally she manages a soft smile. She attempts to stand, but only manages to shift her weight onto her knees. So there she remains, looking up at him. Odd for such a tall and proud creature as herself. Her water envelops them, air and lightning swirling into the midst.
“You called I came. You died, I brought you back. I love you Marshall, I could never let you leave. Not like that.”
She sighs, the words were true. She did love him, he was her best friend. She would have died for him, and he knew it. She cannot help but offer a weak laugh as his next words explode from his lips. She had never seen him so upset before, and she must admit, in a dark way, she liked it. She liked seeing this side of him.
“I know Marshall, but it was my decision. I could not watch Solira die under his hand. Not again. And what they did to Pirate… no. That Solira is not my home.”
Her features harden, and she looks away. Unwilling to say anymore. She had grown up in Solira since birth, they had no idea the pain and suffering it had cost her to leave.
