Desreal: You're right, I knew everything.

Saphira could feel someone following her, feel her water quicken, her lightning jolt at the elements that swirled off the desert Queen. She turned facing the Oracle, her sapphire eyes cold, glimmering. Tears stained her gaze, but Hypatia was too blind to notice. She glares, and takes a menacing step in her direction.

“I know more about the shards power than you think Naptha. It is a part of my blood, my heritage. I know what will happen, and I was not foolish in taking it. I took it from Pirate’s murderer, the murderer who bit my daughter and changed her. Tainted her. I know exactly what I did.”

Her last words are more a snarl than anything else. She takes another step closer, her eyes glazing, her corruption receding only slightly.

“But you, you know nothing.Your threats are useless here. Leave.”

And with that Saphira turned away from her. From the foolish Queen who thought she knew everything. And in truth, knew nothing of the Siren.
