Simon listened carefully, but slowly; so slowly, he lost his caution. It was not because he blithely threw caution to the wind, but it seemed something was lulling him into a blind acceptance, some inevitable force that he hardly noticed and even if he did, would not have been able to resist.

“You got bored too?” He grew almost excited, though he contained his thrill that he was not the only one (although guiltily he viewed it as a mutiny) that had grown bored with their nation. Simon loved Solira dearly, but sometimes he felt only loathing for those in it. He was interested in the stallion, and secretly pleased that they had at least one thing in common.

When Severus offered to show him around, Simon forgot completely about stranger danger. It was more Transference than a lack of common sense (common sense wasn’t normally a common commodity anyway, but Simon usually exhibited unusual amounts of it) that led him astray. He followed Severus as he moved, cloaking him much like a shadow.

“Have you met anyone else that lives here?”
