"And vhat makes you assume that I 'ad such eententeeons?", he answered her not, but left another question lingering between them to continue the test, the mocking, the jeering and games that had formed between them - for was it not the elements that chose who should be free and who should remain? Veering to the opposite side of the branch to the fire-laden mare, he felt the bitter cold more so when not by her side, when not warmed by the heat of her body radiating out to touch him unwillingly. And indeed he did shiver, shaking his head lightly to send his chestnut mane into a flailing mess of tendrils to land upon the opposite side of his crest to send the thought of the cold back deep down within his soul. He had become accustomed to the chilled desert night air, but still felt the bitterness that winter had brought upon them when basking in such a languid traipse - and thus, as he drifted back to the side of the Silver warrior, he found warmth there once more from her element that was yet to be ignited within himself. Alas, as the mare snarked back another comment to the stygian beast, this time he allowed such amusement to befallen within his blood-black eyes, turning his facade to her slightly to gaze upon her. "Ees zat a challenge dear Mab?", for a moment, he allowed the question to linger upon the cold air with the puff of steam that formed the very words he spoke, throwing the question directly back at her to see what her response would be.
Woe and alas, he chuckled out loud and turned back to gaze upon the snow ridden path they strode, speaking once more before she could answer his question; "And trust me, I 'ave called out to a few but none 'ave answered. I vould be heeghly deesappoeented eef I vas be'eeng avoeeded already. But ve shall see v'o comes forvard", puffing steam from his nostrils he continued to walk with her, side by side, meandering towards the desolation and devetation that awaited them in Ni'Srilan, a world which was rumoured to be the pinnacle of the worlds just a few weeks ago, but now left as nothing more than dog food for those souls of damnation to feed upon.
