Sometimes he can be stubborn and not say anything at all. Sometimes he can be rather up front and hurt someone’s feelings. Or sometimes he can just talk in circles until they just get tired of hearing his voice droning on and on and on about the same thing. What else does he have, really? What else does he have? He left Corrigan behind to pick up his broken pieces without regret or guilt over what he did. Ripping a piece of the boy’s ear off was nothing near what natural Abaayan instinct would have made him do had he lesser control over himself.
“Some of us learn life lessons through things our parents teach us.” He muses, sobering up for but a moment as she nips at him and smiles. He can’t see it but he can feel her sunny expression through the water that warms between them. His own breath is frost but that doesn’t matter, not right now. “Others, who don’t necessarily have parents (or have parents who simply don’t care) have to learn their lessons through personal experience.” And he doesn’t want to say Corrigan’s name, not for Oceantree’s sake, but for his own. “Some of us will never learn unless we are left with scars to constantly remind us of several different things.” And perhaps she can take a lesson from his words too, but in a different kind of way.
“Scars can remind us of who we are or who we were. They can remind us of what we should or should not do. Sometimes they can bring us the courage we need to face our worst fears or to realize mistakes we’ve made that we must atone for always.” And Corrigan has some pretty big ones that he’ll have to live with for quite some time. Choke bumps her with his shoulder then snorts, looking over at her with a boyish grin. “Or sometimes they are just really cool to look at.”
He gives her a look as if he just swallowed a bug.
“Well,”
“If you’re not blind, of course.”
This is your girlfriend's layout.
