Desreal: I SEEK A BOLT OF LIGHTNING;

lost and found and then lost again;

She left the mountains of Andarin to seek a solace in Desreal that she should have known she would not be capable of finding. The Earth at her feet speaks in tremors of how she still feels; the death of her King, and ex-lover Kale, her slight betrayal of Micah, falling back into rhyme with Ozymandias.. Everything seemed to be going quite well.

But she held another title now, Seer, and Ambassador. She was not truthfully ready for everything that this entails, but she turns her head quickly as she hears something in the distance—it is Nyki. She is still not used to seeing him, but his voice is everything that she has heard before, before she became Seer. She looks around for him, his silver, white and grey coat hiding him in the shadowy brush of Desreal.

This place looks like shit.. She laughs, getting closer to her Familiar, he seems to know exactly what will cheer her up. Well, it looks a lot better than the damn Ocean. She does not know that he can not purr, as no large cat can, only Ocelots and other small felines have the correct muscles and vocal abilities to purr. But that is what she thinks she hears and it makes her think he likes the Ocean but she finds herself being nudged in the side of her leg. Water is gross.. we should go play in the Desert, you like the desert..

And then she knows he can read her mind, and she—if she tries—can know exactly what Nyki is thinking, feeling,.. all down the board. But it seems that he can’t speak with anyone but her—this is faulty.

She walks with her Familiar, unsure if anyone else can see him but her, but still without fear in Desreal—Ozy is but a call away, right?
