Aian called, and Ozymandias answered; it is amusing and convenient that he dragged his feet and took his time coming to claim his toy, for now he is greeted by this turn of events. Oh goody! Her Earth, tied inexorably to his, shuddered and jerked like a fish caught on a line, the hook grotesquely maiming and destroying its gaping mouth.
He reels himself to her.
Ozymandias winds gracelessly through the trees, amber eyes bright, cold, and distant, combing every shadow in Desreal's summer foliage. He feels every creature here, hears them, senses them, and disregards them, even the wounded ones that beg to be taken by death, death he could so easily deliver, he ignores and passes by. His gait does not falter, though; usually so easily distracted (especially by the opportunity to kill something), for once he is driven, dedicated, and unshakable.
There is another presence, another power that tangles with the tabby cat's, another strand of Earth. Ozymandias is, for a moment, surprised at its identity, but it quickly turns to chagrin and malevolent amusement. Sometimes, he hardly needs to mess with things: fate tangles everything up into beautiful knots without his help. He smiles.
Shadows split and part ungraciously to make way for his hulking frame. His light eyes jump from Aian to Micah to Aian, where they linger, widening a bit mischieviously, an expression only a lover could recognize. One corner of is mouth flickers into a smile. He pulls his gaze from her with effort -- they haven't seen each other for quite some time, and sado-masochistic passion dies hard -- and turns instead to Micah, whom he has chosen to address.
"Ah, women..." Ozymandias sighs wistfully, tipping one hind hoof forward, his hips skewed as he rests, a few vertebrae cracking along his spine as he gazes pensively into the distance. "They can be so difficult, eh, Micah?"
Slowly he turns to look at Aian once more and he blinks once, communicatively, because he is just nonverbal and spiffy like that. "I would apologize to have kept you waiting, but your waiting led to this lovely get-together. So I'm not sorry."
If Micah did not, then Aian certainly would notice the absolute disaster that could explode from Ozymandias without notice. He is, by default, an exceedingly posessive and jealous creature.
