Instead, Genesis merely looked from father to daughter as they interacted with one another. The great white mare took a moment to look away to offer the two a bit of privacy. Her thoughts lingered on Brutus, wondering if he was doing well in Andarin. To be honest, it wasn’t the most wonderful situation to have him stolen by none other than Fantome, the stallion she’d loved at one point. Right now, she didn’t find herself too terribly fond of him, and she was certain that he would be talking to Brutus before she would get the chance to tell him about everything involving Fantome and Courage. The moment that she looked away, Courage smiled at her father, stepping closer to allow her golden muzzle to trace his body, her water element giddy with giggles. She smiled up to him, wanting to say something but unable to do so. Instead, all she could muster was a nod and the simple touch of her childish and innocent flesh to that of her father’s. In a moment, everything was perfect. And then, Genesis’s glance came back to the two and she let out a sigh. ”Hate to break this up, but I need to speak with your father alone.” Her eyes of blue pierced Fantome as they gazed at him. He knew exactly what this was about. ”Why don’t you go play in the stream and he’ll be over later.” Courage gave her father one last look before she tore herself away from him, happily playing with the water. And then Genesis turned to the black stallion, and if she were human she would have her arms crossed over her chest and her toe tapping the ground. ”Why Brutus?” she asked, not quite happy but not quite blaming Fantome either. There is still a lingering affection that rests in her eyes. She is just not certain how to go about this one. Her voice isn’t accusatory and it is soft as it spills through the distance.
