Aian forgets the desert for a moment, forgets Kale and everything else about this place. And takes herself back to Ilius—takes herself back to when she was a toy, and nothing else. Oh, god.. the things she has endured here can be called a hell to the fun she had with Ozy.

And that is why she is here, a desperately long trail of green life-filled leaves following in her wake. She can feel his Earth, can call to him—she knows it. And she pulls—if she is to have darkness she would rather have Ozymandias than whatever Kale has become. She knows the things Ozy is capable of, Kale—she’s not so sure. His Earth is stronger, but he doesn’t scare her.
