Good day on the Beach today. After a stop by Campo’s for bait I picked up Jim Walther, Gram, and Darrel from Jim’s camp. We had a light SW wind and a good falling tide. We started out in Lake Borgne and got on a couple good Trout bites working along the shore with live shrimp under a cork. There were plenty throwbacks mixed in at first. With a move to another section of the shore we got on some better Trout. They were eating up pretty good then all of a sudden shut off. Our next move was into the Biloxi Marsh where we finished off our limits and headed in. Fun day with some great guys and a nice box filled with 100 Trout, 3 Reds, and 1 Drum. The fishing in Shell Beach is outstanding and the fall fishing is on fire. The next three months will be some of the best fishing of the year. There are still some open dates so book yours soon. Campo’s is open with fuel, live bait, ice, and two back down ramps. Nice and easy launching with helpful advice from the Campo’s is waiting for you.
