Friday report from the Beach. Scott and Karen Greathouse from Wisconsin were down in New Orleans for the weekend to celebrate their anniversary. They wanted to sample some of our outstanding fishing. We left the dock around 11am and hit a couple of close spots where they caught some nice Trout, a couple of Reds, Drums, and several Sheepshead. We then worked our way out to Eloi and got on a good Trout bite. The action was fast with plenty throw backs mixed in. It did not mater since they did not want to keep any fish. They had a great time and we made it back to the dock just in time to beat the rain. The Trout are on and the fishing in Shell Beach is outstanding. Campo’s is open with fuel, live bait, ice, and the newly improved back down ramps are open. Nice and easy launching with helpful advice from the Campo’s is waiting for you.
