My nephew, Zachary Culley, attened this event in Sedalia last weekend that was exceptional. Zachary is an 11 year old boy that was born with spina bidifa and is in a wheelchair. At the age of 1 1/2 Zachary was also diagnosed with caner of his kidney and he had to have that kidney removed. For all of this, Zachary is a very STRONG child. Yes, he has his ups and downs, but he is all HEART. Zachary had so much fun this weekend doing what he love to do, but sometimes it is hard to do being in a wheelchair. Our favorite thing to say to this boy is "Figure out a way to do it cause you are not handicapped" He can do almost everything that everyone else can do. Jim Bob, Harry, David, J.R., Shawn, Mike, and Otis touched this little boy's life in many ways this weekend and he will never forget what they all did for him this weekend. He had many firsts, first turkey, first time shooting a shotgun, and first time spoonbilling. Zachary was presented with a Basset Hound puppy this weekend that he named J.B. (Can you guess what it stands for?......Jim Bob) That says a lot right there in how Jim Bob and everyone else this weekend touched his life. There are not enough words in this world to say "Thank You" to all those who helped make a difference this weekend, but I pesonally see how they touched the lives of many. This gourp is planning a deer hunt in the fall and I am sure that it will be bigger and better than this turkey hunt, and I know that you will have our continued support for future events and that Zachary will sign up to go on the hunt. Thanks so much to all!!! Keep doing what your doing cause it is for a GREAT cause!!!!
