I've been getting emails, but the other sites—Inside Sparta, Spartan Blitz, Spartan Thunder (link on our home page) have long strings going on this subject. We most likely will be 1-6 going into our nationally televised Sunday night game against Nevada on Nov. 8th. (at Fresno State on Saturday, at #5 Boise State the following Saturday.)
Here's a sample email from a hoop alum living on the peninsula to one of his fraternity brothers who brought up the subject:
"Hey Mr. Football and now a very wealthy man with a lot of gas, and a very gracious host to Brothers Alvin and half Brother Shaw recently on the football trip to ‘Bama, you are hereby selected to find a new football coach for SJSU. You got the time, the pizzazz, and the connections to pull this off! Get involved and do something.
