Not the university, but the City of San Jose Sports Hall of Fame. Murphy has recently been the host at golf coach John Kennaday's "Spartan Golf Friendraiser" tournament in November at Cinnabar Hills Golf Club.
"Murph" recently announced that he would no longer be MC'ing the AT&T Pro Am celebrity tournament on Wednesday before the Pros tee off at Pebble Beach. Did anyone here coach or play at State during his tenure at Sparta?
