I discovered that my seat mate in a 1960 commercial art class and thought he should have a college portfolio in Lyke the campus quarterly magazine. Check the 1961-62 years of Lyke in the San Jose State library archives for the early work of this talented illustrator. (The Fall 1961 cover is on our website's Photos page)
Bruce Wolfe returned to sculpture after years in San Francisco Advertising and later as a freelance illustrator in Piedmont. Or you can drive over to the St. Mary's College campus in Moraga to see his largest work in front of their chapel.
