Yes, there is a football season before the San Jose State men's basketball team rolls out in November so in our best imitation of the late Billy Mays:
1. USC: Tickets for the September 5 matchup with the Trojans are $50 and available right now from the San Jose State University ticket office. This will assure you sitting with all the other Spartan fans who will be making the trip south. The SJSU ticket office has these on consignment from USC so act now before the batch is snapped up.
2. Utah: This is a nationally televised home game September 12 against a team that finished second in the country in 2008. Utah fans travel well and many of the the LDS members in the Bay Area are also likely to be in attendance. If we don't buy tickets now, we risk a home game being dominated by the visitors. Currently, only group ticket sales are going on -- a minimum of 25 constitutes a group -- and a 20% discount off of face value of the tickets in available. Individual tickets go on sale August 3. This game will be a sellout so gets your tickets now.
3. Stanford: Tickets for the September 19 game in Palo Alto are $15 (reduced from $20 year ago!) and are currently being sold at the Spartan Ticket office. It is CRITICAL that Spartan fans purchase their tickets from our own ticket office because doing so directly benefits OUR Athletics Department.

(Remember to ask for "Rat Line seats" and the Spartan Ticket office will seat us all in the area of that section, even at the USC game.
