Hello Pat and many thanks for getting out the word about our son Jason/Jake. I apologize for not getting back to you direct and I have been relying on Snell to get the word out to you. I have received many, many e-mails from old SJS friends about Jason and the outpouring of support and love has been wonderful. I am not a very good expert on this computer stuff and so I will add your e-mail and I guess the Ratline e-mail, although I am not exactly sure yet which is what but I will figure it out tonight.
You and Peter have been wonderful, as always, supporting all of us now old Rats and Lions. Jake was not offended at all about being kidded about two-a-days in anyway or shape. If the truth be known any old football player is always proud that they just survived two-a-days.
We expect Jason to have his hand detached from his belly on monday morning [June 15] and so this next week will be a big relief. Currently he has no hands to use and so Jo, Kathy and I are feeding him and massaging him and scratching him when ever he needs anything. He is basically just managing to wiggle around a bit and take a few rides in a wheel chair.
He got the stitches on his legs out yesterday and they are preparing his legs from prosthetises over the next three weeks. After the swelling goes completely down they will take a mold of his legs and in another three weeks he should receive his first of several new bionic legs. To say the least, he is looking forward to this with great anticipation.
I haven't changed any of my addresses that I know of so I am sorry for any mix up there. At least you have the right address for this e-mail. I don't know anything about High-Tech it just mostly pisses me off because it will not do what I want.
Anyhow, it is great to hear from you, again, and I apologize for not getting back to you sooner. I will try to be more on top of it in the future. Give Carol a hug for us!! We send our love to your both!!
