(June 3, 2009) So far so good! One more week to go. Graft Separation (surgery #6) is scheduled for June 10th and not a minute too soon.

Jay has been unable to move for a week now as his left hand is stitched to his stomach. Next Wednesday, he is to undergo surgery #6 to remove the hand from the stomach.

Everything looks good. Today, the prosthetic doctor formed a cast of the right arm and brought with him a ray of sunshine. Jay is anxious to get on with it, whatever it is! Everyone that talks with him comments on his positive attitude, and how it is so important to his well-being. We continue to enjoy him and the wonderfulness of Kathy. Stick with us, we need all of you, Love, the joes
