The A.P. Economic Stress Index for the United States. This interactive Yahoo map shows where the Recession is hitting hardests by measuring the financial strain by County. (Take a look at California.) As things get worse, the Index score goes up. As things get better, the score goes down. Economic Stress Index for the U.S.
