Even the trainer on crutches from New Mexico quit looking at NBC's video coverage as way in back was the $9,500 horse from New Mexico ridden by local favorite Calvin Borel.
Shades of "Silky Sullivan". This would be a better movie than "Sea Biscuit"

Love that headline: "Bird is the Word", compliments of "The Trashmen".
