It's a good thing I taped ESPN2 this morning. It was 8 AM before I remembered it.
Can anyone guess how many times ESPN2 showed Spartan DE Jaron Gilbert jumping out of that swimming pool on this morning's show? (When the show opened at 7 AM they teased the audience with this footage.)
This was major broadcast time for Spartan football. It was nice to see Gilbert's weight lifting feats shown. Filming that jump for YouTube surely paid off for one of San Jose State's defensive standouts. President Jon Whitmore, Dick Tomey's staff, his Business Marketing profs, and his Chino High faculty and coach John Monger must be proud to see how well Gilbert represented the Spartan student athlete on national television. I know I am.
