Hi Everybody,
I have decided that it is time to expand my practice in the area of personal advising. There isn’t really a title that I use to define what it is that I do, but know that my practice is a combination of many identities. I think that what I offer includes: counseling, ministering, coaching, cheerleading, mentoring, listening, advising, teaching, and a safe place for people to come with issues that are of concern to them.
I believe that we are headed into a period of real uncertainty in many aspects of our lives. There are going to be times when that uncertainty will create a lot of fear and crisis, but I believe it will create some wonderful opportunities to grow, learn and discover aspects of yourself that you never knew existed. We are all going to find out what we are made of.
Most of you who know me are aware that I like to talk, but I have been told that I can be a great listener when someone needs to talk and be heard. I can talk to almost anyone about anything and if I can’t most of the time I can refer to someone who can help.
I also understand the importance of not giving advice but giving feedback when asked. In addition I understand the importance of not judging another’s path in this adventure that we call life.
I don’t have a magic bullet, but my own experience has been that most of the answers that I needed came from within. What I found was that I just needed a safe place to express what was going on at the time. I also got a lot of valuable information along the way. I have been lucky to have a number of mentors who really helped me along the way and I have humbly joined that group.
I have also created a web log, www.dalilambchop.com. I expect to blog at least twice a week and I am committed to creating a blog dedicated to helping people live a greater life. I also want it to be site where we have fun.
At the moment the web log will be simple, but over time we will be offering CD’s, DVD’s and a book that I have almost completed.
Many of the early postings will be from this book. I also will have a quote of the day and a song of the day. My wish for this web log is that we have a few laughs while we crunch our way through the future.
People that might want to find out more about what I will be doing can e-mail at my new e-mail address:
Dalilambchop@yahoo.com. I will continue to use dallasreidhall@hotmail.com for personal reasons.
In this period of technology I can talk to anyone, anywhere in the world on the telephone as well.
You could support me and perhaps help a friend by forwarding this announcement to your e-mail address book.
You never know when a friend has an issue and no one to talk to.
I will send a series of newsletters to bring you up to date on the goings on and nudge you to check out the web log site.
Thanks in advance for your support.
With warmest regards,
Dallas R. Hall
