It was well known that certain newspaper articles in the mid 1960s at times gave the correct surname, but modified the forename. So instead of rabbiting on about the Daily Telegraph article in December 1965, that wrote Jimmy Ross, let Mervyn Hagger explain why another article in a different paper, uses the same style of writing using (Geoffrey) Ainley and (James) Ross, when other names are correct. The excuses of non publishing a book and insulting many people is now unacceptable. Time to PUT UP or SHUT UP. Scottg.
