Radio needs to be simple including all the new methods of connecting and listening, through mainstream use of Apps if not through an old fashioned FM radio.
I am a radio geek and I do use VLC and do know how to make things simple for Alexa. My personal preference for getting easy access to more obscure radio stations is to use the Radio Browser website and set up a routine.
What I was suggesting was for the average Joe to listen it should be spelt out for them. So a little note advising we have our own skill ask Alexa to enable and then simple say Alexa play Caroline Coastal.
What you have to remember is they are all volunteers and provide a good service to their area and with the help of Caroline lets hope they survive better than Saint FM. I'm sure they will as long as they take constructive criticism when they see it and make adjustments when they can. I haven't contacted them so they maybe unaware or have never thought about it. However I am sure most of them have other busy things to do than their hobby and changing it ASAP.
Although I think the relaying of the main service is a good idea as the Flashback service doesn't quite suit. It's a bit like having a reserved Overdrive service when they cannot fill their schedule
