He goes on and on saying that the “Caroline myth” as he sometimes calls it, is based on a 1990 novel by Ian Ross. Central to the “myth” is the name Jimmy Ross who Hagger claims never existed.
However, in a Daily Telegraph piece in December 1965 the name Jimmy Ross does appear in relation to Radio Caroline. That suggests that Hagger’s theory is simply not true.
This was raised by Chris Edwards and ignored by Hagger.
