Don't take that as a criticism on my part. I wish them luck, just don't follow the need for people to pretend about ships,etc. (perhaps they do have a ship,etc.?).
From a personal perspective, I was on the VOP "back in the day" and I'm a bit unsure about it being revived. The VOP was very much about being an independent voice (more so than any of the European stations) and its location on a ship, not tied to any land/country, contributed greatly to that. It would not have worked in any other environment.
To my mind, the act of intentionally sinking the ship really was the final statement.
