I was only a kid but if its the event i think you are refering to, must have been about 1977. I remember that at the time there was Caroline on one frequency, 319 metres and radio Mi Amigo on a second frequency by day, 212 metres i think. I remember a few days when it seemed that most, if not all the dutch Djs had been taken off the ship and the English, Caroline presenters were trying to fill in for them on Mi Amigo and trying their best to do as much in Dutch as they could. As i always prefered Radio Mi amigo to Caroline as it was far more fun, it made for really entertaining radio.
