Hi, I use Firefox but use a tab extension called IE tab, you just right click on my original Laser 558 link and use the option of open up in internet explorer/switch rendering engune see below for link.

It does buffer occasionally using this but its no where near as bad as using stand alone players, hope this helps a bit.
I have emailed the man that is in charge of these broadcasts to see if there is anything he can do about it and I've also given him a link to this forum [hope that ok]to see if he wants to come in to here and explain it a bit better than me 
, going by the email address for him it's obviously someone from Holland that is putting these broadcasts back online. good luck
