They closed down on 9th October. There was a falling out between Paul (Hound Dog) and Sandy (Alex Baker). Paul posted an open letter to Peter Moore on this forum announcing the close down. Sandy B has now started a new station on the same frequency and on the net. It's called Shout FM http://www.shoutfm.net/
Last I heard Sandy was interviewing DJ's for the station, think it's mostly continuous music at the moment with Sandy doing a daytime programme around midday - may be other progs by now, I haven't been listening. Do not expect to hear Hound Dog on Shout FM though - there is no way that will happen. Pity because I think he was the best presenter on the station. Seems the issues between Paul and Sandy were music format and money!(Sandy wants Pop, and they ran out of money) but the bottom line is they had a row!
Tony Christian tried hard to pull it back together but couldn't get any response from the guys and finally gave up - Tony is however hoping to have a new station of his own before too long.
If that happens I guess we may hear Hound Dog back on air again. I certainly hope so.
