The generator has been sitting there all the time.
When the mast is damaged BigL and BP can go for a damage compensation with Novec, the owner of the mast, a state owned company. BP hires it from Novec, and there is still a running contract.
Yes, Novec doe it;s job fine, really \keeping an eye on their gear and keeping it in excelent condition.
Remember Nozema that failed to keep the TX on air after the Bigl launch in May 2005?
Well Novec is a split-off from Nozema, so now you know.
BTW, is all the copper still there, previous interval time the TX was off it was stolen away from the site.
