Thanks for the report. Are you in town or out in the sticks ? Are you near a telephone exchange ? the reason I ask that is that broadband downstream from the exchange uses frequencies that extend to about 1 Mhz. To an am radio it just sounds like noise but it can seriously reduce the coverage of stations that operate at 1Mhz or below, particularly if you are listening within about 1/2 a mile of a phone ex.
