I can see the need for using aliases. In the old days . . (I sound like Uncle Albert!) . . it would be to avoid the usual investigators, and I dare say avoid paying income tax as well.
But this is supposed to be a community of colleagues, a family of friends, a gathering of geeks or an assembly of Anoraks. I don't know why people would need to hide their identity - but if they really do, then thats fine, but I dont agree with the bile boys hiding away and lobbing grenades over at us.
