All jokes aside, I am going to ask if anyone on this board truly thought that;
1)Cruisin 531 was going to start from International Waters
2)It was going to have an ass kickin format that was going to make the current UK radio scene look to its laurels. (As Laser 558 did to a limited fashion in 1984)
3)That on July 1st we would really say "Well done Neil"!
This is not a knock Neil Gates thread because I am sure that he really wants to do what he said he was going to do. He just did not go about it in the right way, made a lot of enemies, was too open on what his "plans" were, lacked the business acumen etc etc.
As someone put it, well at least it generated debate. Pity in a lot of cases it was debate of the wrong kind.
