I thought it waqs April Fools day when I heard this, bjut its seemingly true!
High Wycombe's local station (used to be called 11-70 AM, then Swan CFM , but more recently The Mix (clearly its bosses had no idea what it was!) closed down at 10 am (yesterday?) and the cut off was in the middle of a big cheer by all the DJs. Cheering their own stations closedown? How appalling. Awful!
Presumably another fiasco, endemic of non-radio people running something they have no love for, no feeling for and, in my opinion, no business being involved in.
GGRRRRR makes my blood boil!
