The people here in the city don't know the meaning of the word restraint.
In a past life I used to collect and deliver cars to the underground car park at Canary Wharf.
There was a mouth watering collection down there including Bentley's, Maserati's, Ferrari's, Lamborghini's (yes, why keep it for sunny weekends when you can use it for the run to work).
I'm told, they're still there as my former colleague still works for HR Owen's performance cars who also own Jack Barclays (Rolls & Bentley dealers) in Barclay Square.
Remember, they're not gambling with their own money, they're gambling with yours.
Stockmarket cynic.
