Working Class Hero is another Lennon one that got banned.
Another that got banned for drug references in the sixties by the Beeb was Granny Takes a Trip by the Purple Gang, except she just took a trip to a movie audition if you listen to the lyrics. The groups lead singer was calling himself Lucifer at the time which didn't help and the BBC said they "would not be tolerated by any decent society".
Going back further anyone remember Miss X by Christine, who was Joyce Blair, Lionel's sister, BBC banned of course:

and another banned one, Lonnie Donegan Diggin My Potatoes which was the follow up single to Rock Island Line:

Spencer Leigh has recently done a lot of research on records banned by the BBC, he wrote an article 100 records banned the BBC for Record Collector April 08 and then Acrobat released a three CD set, This Record is Not to Be Broadcast, 75 records banned by the BBC 1931-1957 which I have, reason they stopped at 1957 is they dont have to pay performers copyright at the moment but that means it not too expensive to buy. Keith Skues is playing one each week on Pirate Radio Skues.
There's a banned records website I have bookmarked:
