The future, Timelord, as I keep shouting, is internet. You've already quoted that the takeup of this platform is increasing, and I believe it will continue to do so. What really needs to happen now, is for the delivery of internet radio to be improved, so that it will be able to be received to portable devices. The technology is already there to do just that. Some mobile phones can already do it. You can listen on your phone with headphones for nice quality stereo, or put into an amplifier or iPod dock or car radio to hear without headphones. And this will improve as time goes by. The radio world is your oyster. or you can be a barnacle and stick with AM, if there's anything left on there!
