One other "don't miss" event of the planting season- Sean Mcfall of Chilly Palm Tree will be at the Green Spring Garden Sale once again this year on Sat MAY 15. He will be bringing up an assortment of hardy palms, bananas and other tropicals for the plant sale. The Greenspring Garden Plant sale is truly one of the best, not only because Chilly Palm Tree will be there, but because you can buy all sorts of annuals, perennials, tropicals, succulents, you name it, at the best prices in the area.The diversity of plants for sale is almost overwhelming. It will be held rain or shine-it's worth it!
Get there early, bring a wagon and/or bags to carry your goodies. The plant sale is in the middle of the park which will have all sorts of plants in flower and foliage. A real treat! The May15 Spring Garden Day is listed at the bottom of the website page. Green Spring Gardens is located on Little River Turnpike (RT 236) inside the beltway by only a few miles.
