The stallion only snorts as an answer. So what? He didn’t like someone commenting about this and that. He would find someone who felt that joking was much more fun then anything else. But then again, this slow poke was getting to edge of being rude. Ears pinned as he listened to the comment about his mother only compelling one intelligent answer and without thought release a spark from his lighting to strike anything at all. He does not take crap from others and even if Sterling was saying it out of the blue towards him he took no chances. He would never let anyone talk crap about Althea, no one! Not even this shadow.
Never said I wanted you as a friend, just common courtesy. And leave my mother out of it. She has nothing to do with you.
Words came out slim without any regret as he stepped forth towards the oasis. He drank it slowly not hesitating just taking his time. Feeling his throat being refreshed he lifted his cranium, the same eye was still hiding though as he looked towards the water stallion. Silence filled within their presence and a smirk appeared on his lips. He felt like having some fun.
And how is things with Hypatia? Gotten out of the shadows yet?
He didn’t want any enemies but didn’t like stallions that much as friends either. And besides, he didn’t think that Sterling and he would be a good match. Not like that! He is not gay, he just, can’t see Sterling as a friend. (He could try of course but his mind won’t allow him because it seems impossible.) Eyes darted but he stood underneath the sun. He was almost as a cremello only that he had a stripe running down his spine and his legs being darker with stripes showing he was a dun type. Oh he did not bother about the sun; to be honest he loved it because he did not get much warmth on him because of his color. Lucky him.
