Rin flicked an ear towards him, yet again, as he spoke. It was as if his whole demeanor had changed. It seemed to her that he had changed from aggressor to neutral. This was the change that Rin had craved. Still nervous, she let down her guard, just a tad. Her eyes were still nervous, but her muscles slowly released the tension and posture, allowing even her harshly proportioned body to have a softer look to it. Still apprehensive, she didn't answer. She had never been good at reading motives. All of her life, she basically fought when she was unsure. But now, in her new life, she was attempting not to do that. Not until she knew where everyone stood.
The stallion spoke again. This time, Rin's interest was visibly peaked. With both ears immediately tuned in, her eyes grabbed on to an eager, hungry look and her body posture changed almost immediately. Yes, she was very thirsty and had no idea where water was. It had been an uncomfortably long time since her last slaking of thirst and she was very much in a hurry to locate the life saving water.
Yes! she said, perhaps a little too eagerly, but at this point, pride was no longer in the way of her craving body.
